Suihatsu refers to the Wooden display slip used in the Japanese tea ceremony to hang flower vases for chabana (tea ceremony flowers). In contemporary living spaces, this board can be affixed to walls or pillars, allowing you to hang flower vases on it and enjoy it as part of the interior design. This was created by cutting out the edges of a long chest that was originally used in Ryōsokuin, a Zen temple in Kyoto.
