Hirasa ware Flower Vase This white porcelain tokkuri (sake flask) was crafted in Hirasa, Satsuma Domain, during the late Edo period. Using Amakusa pottery stone, it features a serene and distinctive glaze, expressed through various techniques like sometsuke (underglaze blue) and iro-e (colored overglaze). The vase exudes an elegant charm reminiscent of folk art.
